We haven’t look at a chart of DELL (Dell Inc. NASDAQ) stock for a long long time, but with the bidding war with HPQ right now over 3PAR – I thought it would be worth it to take a quick look.
Being as I was a former Mergers & Acquisitions guy – I have a really good understanding of how this process could hurt and/or help DELL stock. If they successfully win the bid then I would expect the security to trade much lower – being as they are going to be paying out a lot of money they technically don’t need to spent right now.
If they lose the bid for 3PAR then the stock may jump back inside the channel below. Either way the move it typically opposite what you all tend to think would happen.
