Exponential Moving Averages
Exponential moving averages are wildly used by traders and give more weight to recent daily prices. They are calculated by applying a percentage of today’s closing price to yesterday’s moving average. Therefore the more recent days are weighted higher than previous days giving an earlier trading signal.
