Today the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) will introduce its first options on a futures contract for VIX Weekly (ticker: VOW). Many investors like trading the weekly SPY and QQQQ as a way to gain additional income and/or hedge their portfolio each week. Now you can trade the direct VIX with weekly options.
NOTE: These new VIX weekly options are going to actually settle with a futures contract unlike the current VIX options which are cash-settled. This could be good or bad depending on your own trading style so please take time to learn more about them before trading.
