Backtester Monthly P&L Table Helps Improve Expectations

The new 0DTE and next-day backtester includes a monthly P/L table with results for every backtested strategy for each month of the test period.

The new table is super powerful because it lets us visualize the sequential monthly and yearly performance, and helps set realistic expectations when trading the strategy.

Every backtested strategy has full transparency for entry and exit settings, position details, and filtered trades. We can click on a month to see a full breakdown of the positions, including the date, time, risk, P/L, and the exit criteria that triggered a close.

Selecting an individual trade gives in-depth position details, including the exact simulated orders with timestamps. 

The backtesting logs show why trades were filtered, with the specific reason why it was not included in the backtest’s results.
