Expanded Trade Ideas Filters Include Open Interest and Trader Count

We've introduced two additonal Trade Ideas filters: Open Interest and Traders.

These new filters give traders even more control when looking for potential trading opportunities, with key pre-trade information our Community member requested.

The ‘Open Interest’ dropdown lets you filter for trades with a minimum open interest. All option legs of the position must meet the minimum OI requirement you set.

Open interest is a critical factor in option liquidity and an important consideration when evaluating opportunities. This new filter ensures all positions displayed lhave adequate open interest in each contact.

There is also a new option to filter by the amount of Option Alpha Traders that currently have the same position open.

We’ve always had the ability to sort by Traders to see the most popular trades available. With the new ‘Traders’ filter, we can identify positions our fellow Community members are trading, allowing us to combine the human element of trading with the AI machine learning in Option Alpha.

The new tool lets you filter Trade Ideas by a minimum number of active traders in a position. For example, if you set the filter to ‘10 or more’ traders, only trades with at least ten current traders in the platform are displayed. You can combine this with one or more filters for detailed customization.

Both of these new filters can also be added to the Position Criteria inside a Trade Ideas Action.

Automating Trade Ideas leverages all the available filters into one simple action, and the bot will automatically disclude any positions that do not meet the criteria.
