Move Positions Between Bots for Portfolio Flexibility

Giving your positions more 'mobility' between bots has been a popular request from the trading Community, and you now have a quick solution to move a position from one bot to another.

The process is simple:

1. Select the position you want to move
2. Click ‘Move’ on the Position Details page
3. Select a new bot to manage the position and click ‘Save’

Important Note: You can only move positions between bots that share the same trading account. For example, you could move a position in a bot connected to a live brokerage account to another bot that is connected to the same broker.

The ability to move positions is a great way to free up space in a bot, send positions to bots with existing automations that can manage the position, transfer positions to manual trading bots so the trade will be managed by exit options only, and much more. Remember that the position’s returns, stats, and trade history are removed from the original bot and transferred to the new bot. The position’s Exit Options and automation log history remain unchanged.
