We are thrilled to announce the release of a highly requested feature: the ability to close individual legs of credit spreads and leg out of multi-contract positions.
We can now quickly and easily exit only the short legs when manually closing a position.

This new functionality helps solve the problem of positions nearing expiration that are unable to close because the long leg has no buyers. You can now buy back the short leg and manage the long leg manually however you prefer.Â
When exiting the short option of a credit spread, the short leg is closed, and the long leg is released from the bot. You can then import the long leg back into the bot or let it expire worthless.
The bot updates all the key pricing details to show you the live bid/ask spread, mid-price, debit to close, and position p/l for the full position or short legs only, so you can anticipate the real-time expected return when closing the trade.

The new update also includes the ability to scale out of positions with more than one contract manually. We can select how many contracts to trade and partially close the position.
