We’ve heard the Community ask for a simple way to keep up with changes made to the bots they’ve cloned from shared templates.
Any bot cloned from a shared community template now includes a Template section in the bot’s settings that displays what template version we’re using and the latest version released by the bot’s creator. Â
For example, this bot is using version 4 of the template, but a newer version 5 is now available.
We can click ‘Upgrade Bot’ to update our bot automatically to reflect any changes made to the original template. Those changes will flow through to the bot instantly.
All scheduled automations will be upgraded to the latest version. Any changes will be overwritten. Confirm bot input values before continuing.
You can click the bot’s title to visit the template page and see any notes the author has added explaining the new version and changes to the bot. You can also click on the automations to view all the decision actions. We highly recommend reading through the template changes before upgrading your bot.
If you update a bot you've shared with the Community, please document all changes thoroughly on the template page.
