Using Folders for Organizing and Grouping Bot Automations

As you scale your bot portfolio, folders are critical to organizing all your automations in one convenient place.

We’ve made it easy for you to group automations inside the platform so you can consolidate your entire portfolio into folders.

Using folders inside your automation library is an intelligent way to organize your automations. 

Inside the library, you can create custom folders with detailed names to group your automations, so you can quickly find a specific automation if you want to edit, copy, or re-use it in another bot.

Use folders to sort automations by type, strategy, bot, actions, and more.

You can name and organize your folders in a way that makes it easy for you to identify what automations are in each folder.

Every automation displays the number of bots currently using the automation. If you delete an automation from your library, the automation will automatically be removed from the bot as well.

You can easily add, edit, or delete folders. Plus, all your automations are saved to your library. 

You can also create a new automation directly inside a folder.

To add an automation or switch it to a different folder, simply select a folder in the automation editor.

Automation folders are a great tool to keep your portfolio organized (think of how convenient folders are for your computer documents and photos!). Grouping automations is a best practice we recommend every trader use to help manage their bot portfolio.
