About this template
This is a day trading bot, so if you go live with it you will need to have a large enough account to avoid PDT issues. Although, I'm sure someone could tweak out a PDT friendly version by changing some of the timeframes/logic.
Scanner:
The scanner runs after the opening range sets up at 10AM and simply looks at the technicals to determine if it can put on a continuation or reversion spread (@10% of the bot's net liquid) OR a rangebound IB/IC (@15% of the bot's net liquid).
If the "Hedging Allowed Toggle" is ON it will limit itself to 5 open trades to save room for any hedges that may need to open up.
Performance:
So far I have been quite happy with the bot's performance. I've been running it with SPY, but lots of bot level variables you can play around with to run with other symbols and settings. The default doesn't go for ginormous home run days, but has been pretty steady eddy with singles since I began running it 10/5. A good day seems to produce ~ $150 - $200 on $10K paper allocation. I'll be pushing to LIVE shortly and will keep posting any updates and further modifications.
