About this template
This bot buys simple calls and puts and is good for small cash accounts. It can work with an allocation as low as $250. It's a hybrid, so you have to open the trades manually with the buttons. It's set to only have one position open at a time, but you can change that in the Entry Criteria section for each automation.
I've been using it mainly to buy 0DTE QQQ calls when QQQ is oversold intraday. All trades are opened and closed using market pricing since you want to get in and out fast with these kinds of trades and QQQ spreads are typically tight.
If the bot has enough capital to open trades with 5% net liquid it will do so, otherwise it will open with 50% net liquid or you can use the Contracts buttons to open however many contracts you designate in the Bot Inputs section.
I don't use a set stop, opting instead to close manually at my discretion. A trailing stop kicks in at 25% and trails by 15% with a 120% profit target. So far, in limited live trading I only had to close one trade manually for a loss. The rest of the trades seen below were closed by the bot. The one canceled trade was canceled by TradeStation because I tried to open a second trade that day but the account didn't have enough available capital.
The Filters switch enables all the filters for open interest, (option) volume, and symbol volume. I have it turned off because it was preventing me from getting in trades that would've been profitable. I left it in since there may be times when it could be useful.
I look forward to any feedback or suggestions. Enjoy.
