About this template
This bot was created from a Top Backtest strategy that I then enhanced a bit… therefore, it is not the exact backtest. If you want a bot based on that exact backtest you can go find it in the Top Backtests and create a bot from it. That’s how this one started, but then I began tweaking it.
The bot simpli opens a weekly Wide 90DTE SPY Spread and closes at 50% profit or 30 days to expiration.
Some of the enhancements I added are:
- Only opens positions if the market is in an uptrend and not overbought
- Opens a short OR long based on the current IV Rank
- Ability to select a compounding or fixed position size
- PDT Safe
- 30/10% trail
- Optional check to close all open positions if a topping signal is detected OR the market drops significantly
