Beta Weighting Decision Recipes for Automated Portfolio Management

The new release includes bot and position beta weighting so we can see how every trade impacts our portfolio. We've also added two new decision recipes so you can automate portfolio management at the bot and position level.

These new decisions give us the ability to check a bot's beta weight and the power to check an existing position’s beta weight to dynamically manage the position. Or, use the decision to check a position's beta weight to open an offsetting position to hedge, or offset the original trade. The possibilities are endless and this is a very powerful addition to our automated toolbox.

For example, if your bot is leaning a little too bullish, you can use the decision to check if the bot's positions have an aggregate beta weight over a specific value and take action when it happens. Maybe automatically open a bearish trade, or tag the bot.

Plus, now that Trade Ideas includes a beta weight column, you can easily use Trade Ideas to find a trade with a specific beta weight and add it to your bot to quickly balance it out.
