That’s right. Long call spreads and long puts spreads have been added to the Trade Ideas database, giving us a whole lot more potential opportunities to discover. You can easily toggle between credit spreads and debit.
All the same key information is displayed for debit spreads. And, of course, you can still use the filters for reward/risk, probabilities, Alpha, EV, IV rank and more, and sort the potential trade ideas for each column.
Plus, this release includes a new Trade Ideas action for automated debit spreads.
Debit spreads give us options traders a whole new set of positions to choose from, while arming us with the essential data we need before opening a trade. Debit spreads and credit spreads each have their own unique characteristics that are suitable for different market environments and this is an easy way to uncover even more trades and how their probabilities and risk/reward profiles can help us find the right trade.
Plus, debit spreads can also be a great way to add beta weighted delta exposure to help balance your portfolio.
