Notifications are an intelligent way to stay informed and are typically added after bot actions. 

For example, you can create a notification to trigger if the VIX is above 30.

You can even add a custom message to the notification.

Select “Save,” and the notification is added to the bot’s automation. The bot does not take any action if the notification triggers; a message is simply sent to your notifications menu.
