Hello Option Alpha family,
A new mini release of Option Alpha officially went live over the weekend. Thank you to everyone in the community who took the time to contribute ideas, passion and creativity to the process. We appreciate you!
Here's a quick overview of what's new:
Added ability to partially close positions and close only the short legs of spreads
Partial closing allows you to close out a portion of a position when it becomes profitable or too risky and still keep the P/L under a single position. Closing short legs only gives us the ability to close out positions where the long wings no longer have any value. For live positions you can "import" the long wing to have the bot manage it (e.g. a long call) after you've closed out the short legs.
Partial Closes and Ability to Close Short Legs
New, updated and customizable table columns in Trade Ideas, Bots, Positions and Screener
Now you can hide the columns you don't want to see or add new columns we've introduced in this release. My favorite new column is the "Last" price column in the Open Positions screen. The price turns red when the position is ITM (or green if it's a long position) and gives a convenient way to see which of your positions are being challenged. We've also updated the way position and trade idea legs are displayed throughout the app.
Customizable Columns Added to All Table Views
New Position Screen Improvements
Ability to quickly exclude or filter by a symbol in 1 click in Trade Ideas by hovering on the symbol
Click ⊘ to exclude the symbol or ✓ to only include that symbol.

Ability to delete all canceled positions from closed positions list
New fields added to position details screen, including DIT, open and closed date / time
New fields added to exported position data: EV, Alpha, High return %, Low return %, High return % date, Low return % date
