The bot log displays your bot’s entire activity history. We've made it easy to clear the log with one click.
Simply click “Clear Log” in the bot dashboard’s Log tab to erase the automation’s records.
The bot log provides a detailed record of every decision and action in your bot. The log shows you what automations are running, when they last ran, and what criteria the bot checked.
Activities are listed in chronological order, with the most recent activity first. You can also see any errors or warnings the bot encountered.
The log can be quite long if you have many automations running. You may want to clear space to focus on the most recent automation activity. We always encourage you not to clear the log because it’s a great place to see the bot’s decision making.
Be careful! If you clear the log, you can’t undo the action, and all the information is erased (don’t worry - you’re given a prompt to confirm your decision).
The log will begin displaying automation details again at the next scheduled interval. The bot’s dashboard, position history, and automations remain unchanged.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to instantly clear your bot logs with a single click.
Now, be careful when you're clearing your logs for a bot that you're running because if you clear the logs, you can't undo the actions. So, once you know that you want to clear the logs, you're actually able to do it using this very simple button here, inside of your log tab, to clear the log.
Now again, this completely wipes out the log for this particular bot that you're doing the clear log action in. And it removes every single log automation. This would include any automations that are run, any events, and any manual actions that happen inside of your bot.
Now we always encourage people not to clear your logs because it's a great place to keep history and information on what the bot did, how it made decisions, and how it encountered any errors or warnings if it did encounter any of those.
But if you do wanna go ahead and clear your logs, like we're going to do in this example here with our CCI swing with spreads bot, you can just simply click the button to clear the logs.
It's going to ask and prompt you one more time. Are you sure you wanna clear these logs? And then you can say "yes." Once you clear the logs, it completely erases all log history of the bot activity.
Now, this doesn't change any of your position history. Your position history will still show up here inside of your list of closed positions. Your automations are not affected, and, of course, your dashboard stats are not affected either. All of that stays completely the same.
The only thing that gets removed is your actual log of the automations that were run and the events that happened in the bot. But, as soon as you clear the logs and now automation starts running again, or you start taking actions in your bot, those will show up here inside of the log.
